Introduction

I was born in 1976 and consider myself to be originally from Lövéte. I live in Odorheiu Secuiesc with my wife and our three children. I graduated in Economics from the Babeș–Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, specializing in Banking and Finance. Since 2012, I have also served the community as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bonus Pastor Foundation.
I was knighted in June 2025 in Odorheiu Secuiesc, joining the charitable and scientific branches of the Order of Saint George.
Currently, I serve as Chairman of the Board of the Melinda Group and CEO of Melinda Instal, a company active in HVAC, steel products, and heating system solutions.

I was born on December 17, 1946, in Baia Mare. I completed my studies in Brașov, where I earned my degree in forestry engineering in 1969. Throughout my career, I worked in various professional and leadership roles in Oradea and later in Székelyföld, including as a forest district manager and county inspector. I built my family life in Miercurea Ciuc, where we raised four children and now enjoy the presence of eleven grandchildren. I became a member of the Order of Saint George in 2006, in recognition of my work in the restitution of community and private forests.

I was born in Vărșag and am the father of three children. I currently live in Szenttamás with my family of five. I spend most of my free time in nature, which is where I truly recharge.
I was knighted in 2025 and have since been committed to serving the Udvarhelyszék community in this capacity.
I work as a forestry engineer in the field of forest management.

Asztalos István

I was born in 1980 in Sepsibodok. I studied at the Bod Péter Teacher Training College in Târgu Secuiesc and later at Babeș–Bolyai University, where I earned a Master’s degree in History and Archaeology. During my career, I worked as an archaeological technician, museum specialist, and heritage conservation consultant. Since 2014, I have been living in Odorheiu Secuiesc with my family, raising three children with my wife. Since 2015, I have been a member of the Arany Griff historical reenactment association, and in 2025 I was knighted into the Order of Saint George. I currently work at the Agricultural Payments Agency and am trained as a teacher, historian, and archaeologist.

I was born in 1962. My studies include engineering, mathematics teaching, and public administration qualifications.

My professional career has spanned industry, education, and public administration, including work in Gyergyószentmiklóson (Gheorgheni), Budapest, and Oroszhegy (Dealu).

I have been a member of the Order of Saint George since 2011, and my community work has been recognized with several awards.

My areas of expertise include public administration, economics, and mathematics.

Introduction

I was knighted in 2009 in Marosszentgyörgy, and in 2015 I was entrusted with leading the Udvarhelyszék Priory. Between 2018 and 2022, I participated in the Magistrate as an observer, and since 2022 I have served as Deputy Captain General. Since 2023, I have been serving as Grand Prior of the Southern Transylvanian Grand Priory. I am a member of the charitable, artistic, and historical divisions of the Order. Professionally, I am an entrepreneur active in pharmaceutical trade and production.

Bokor Sándor

I was born on April 11, 1950, in Parajd (Praid). I studied at the Mining Institute in Petroșani and worked in the Praid salt mine in various roles, later becoming head of the commercial department. Between 2004 and 2020, I served as mayor of Praid. In 2024, I was awarded honorary citizenship of the commune. I was knighted in 2011 in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc). Even in retirement, I remain actively involved in community life.

I was born in 1978 in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), where I still live with my family. As a local patriot, I am dedicated to making the legends, stories, and values of our region accessible to a wide audience. Through animation, publications, and community-based tourism initiatives, I work to strengthen local identity and cohesion. I was knighted in June 2025 in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc) Odorheiu Secuiesc. As a director, cinematographer, and producer, I lead projects such as the Székelyföld Legendarium and Mini Transylvania Park.

I was born in 1969 and am the father of three children. I hold a degree in computer engineering and currently manage both a design studio and a publishing house.

I am actively involved in initiatives that promote the history and heritage of the Székely and Hungarian communities. As a founding member of a historical equestrian group, I regularly participate in commemorative and cultural events.

An important goal for me is to preserve equestrian traditions and support the professional development of young people.

I was knighted in 2025 and I am a member of the Scientific and Heritage Preservation Division.

Introduction

I have been a member of the Order of Saint George since August 28, 2004, when I was knighted in Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc). Over the years, I have participated in numerous summer academies and later served as a lecturer at various locations, including Gyímesbükk, Timișoara, and Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc). For a decade, I served as spiritual director at the Roman Catholic Theological Institute in Gyulafehérvár (Alba Iulia), where I deepened my commitment to research. My main field of study is the spirituality of Bishop Gusztáv Károly Mailáth. I currently serve as parish priest of Szentegyházasfalva (Vlăhița), a community of over 2,700 members, while also engaging in historical and ecclesiastical research.

I was born in Lövéte (Lueta) in 1964. I work as a historian and local historian and am an external collaborator of the Institute for Hungarian National Strategy in Budapest. As the author of several books, studies, and popular science publications, my research focuses on military history, genealogy, vexillology, symbolism, and church and settlement history. I became a member of the Order of Saint George in 2025.

I was born in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), where I continue to live with my family. My wife and I have two children and four grandchildren.
Throughout my life, I have been active in commerce as an entrepreneur, while also supporting numerous charitable, cultural, and ecclesiastical initiatives.
I was knighted in 2011 in Szatmárnémeti (Satu Mare).

I was born in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc) in 1995 and currently live in Zetelaka (Zetea). From a young age, I have been deeply interested in medieval traditions and historical gastronomy. I have been a member of the Arany Griff Order since 2012, and in 2025 I was knighted into the Order of Saint George and I am a member of the Scientific and Heritage Preservation Division. As a food engineer, my work focuses on processing technologies, traditional food production, and fermentation processes. My research also includes the reconstruction of historical gastronomy.

Sashalmi-Fekete Tamás

I was born in Kaposvár in 1977 and have been living in Transylvania since 2012 with my family. I began my career as a teacher and later continued as a historian and historical reenactor. I have been involved in medieval reenactment since 2000 and currently lead the Arany Griff Order. In 2024, I was knighted in Visegrád into the Order of Saint George and I am a member of the Scientific and Heritage Preservation Division. My research focuses on medieval martial arts, weapon history, and the symbolic world of the Saint Ladislaus legend. I also organize lectures, historical programs, and reenactment activities.

Sófalvi András

I was born in Felsősófalva (Ocna de Sus) in 1973. I studied in Brașov and Budapest and work as an archaeologist and historian. During my career, I have conducted archaeological excavations in numerous medieval churches across Udvarhelyszék, significantly contributing to the reinterpretation of the region’s history. My research focuses particularly on medieval fortification architecture, including royal castles, refuge fortresses, and fortified churches, using modern scientific methods. I became a member of the Order of Saint George in 2025.

I was born in Illyefalva (Ilieni) in 1949. I have practiced medicine since 1973 and currently work as a retired chief physician. My fields of expertise include rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and balneology. I was knighted in 2009 in Marosszentgyörgy (Sângeorgiu de Mureș).

I hold a degree in mechanical engineering and work as an entrepreneur. I am the father of two sons and grandfather of a granddaughter. I was knighted in 2012 in Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), at the Saint George Church. Since 2023, I have been serving as Prior of the Udvarhelyszék Priory. My work has been recognized with several distinctions, including the Knight’s Cross with the Holy Crown and the Officer’s Cross.

I was born in Székelykeresztúr (Cristuru Secuiesc) in 1981. I studied archaeology in Cluj-Napoca and have pursued a diverse professional path, including work as a mountain rescuer and mountain guide.

I am currently the steward of the Bethlen Castle in Keresd (Criș), where I contribute to the preservation and presentation of one of Transylvania’s important historical heritage sites.

I joined the Order of Saint George in 2025, which I consider a recognition of both my professional and community work.

I had the honor of being knighted on April 22, 2017, in Visegrád. I currently live in my hometown, Gyergyószentmiklós (Gheorgheni), together with my family. I am actively involved in several civil organizations and communities, including Kolping, the Order of Vitéz, KÉK, and Háló, where I contribute through volunteer and intellectual work. During historical and church celebrations and commemorations, I proudly represent the Order of Saint George. I work as an economist in the field of finance.

I was born on 25 January 1948 in Tekerőpatak (Valea Strâmbă, part of the municipality of Joseni), Transylvania. I graduated from the Teacher Training College in 1971 with a degree in Physical Education and Sport. For 44 years I served as an educator at the school in Borsec (Borszék), where I also held the positions of Headmaster and Deputy Headmaster for several years. I also served as the leader of the No. 100 Antal Zimmethausen Scout Troop in Borsec. I am a member of the Dr. Nándor Urmánczy Association in Toplița (Maroshévíz) and, with a five-year interruption, have served as a member of the Borsec Local Council continuously since 1992. Following my retirement, I have remained actively engaged in community life as a local tour guide and curator of the Borsec Mineral Water Museum. I am the author of numerous works on local history, having published 32 volumes, several of which are preserved in the János Kájoni County Library and the Municipal Library of Gheorgheni (Gyergyószentmiklós). I am also a member of the editorial boards of Borsec's two local monthly newspapers, Források and Izvoarele, where I regularly publish articles. Both publications are available through the official website of the Municipality of Borsec. For many years I served on the board of the Green Heart (Zöld Szív) Youth Environmental Association, headquartered in Odorheiu Secuiesc. I am married, my wife is a retired kindergarten teacher and together we have two sons and three grandchildren. I was invested as a Knight of the Order of Saint George on 22 July 2011, during a solemn ceremony held in the Chain Church of Satu Mare (Szatmárnémeti).

I first came into contact with the Order of Knights through the squire training school in Gheorgheni. There, I had the opportunity to learn about medieval knightly culture and warfare, and to present this to the public by performing at various events. Since being knighted in Székelyudvarhely in 2025, I have served as co-director of the squire training school.

I was born on May 20, 1950, in Târgu Secuiesc. I completed my studies in accounting and commercial expertise, then began my career at the Vegetable and Fruit Procurement and Sales Enterprise.
From 1972, I worked at the Secuiana trouser factory as export manager, and after the regime change, as a member of the Town Council, I took part in ensuring public supply. Later, I returned to the Secuiana factory, where I worked as an administrator until my retirement in 2010.
On August 31, 2014, I became a member of the Order of Saint George. Initially, I was active in the Priorate of Ciuc, and later in the Priorate of Udvarhelyszék. In recognition of my work, in 2025 I was awarded the Knight’s Cross Adorned with the Holy Crown.

I began my career with a degree in geology and worked in petroleum exploration for ten years. In 1990, I joined the Students’ Club in Târgu Secuiesc, where I taught ceramics to children until 2007, introducing them to the basics of working with clay.
After that, I founded my own business, initially focusing on the reconstruction of old stove tiles from Székelyföld. Since then, I have remained actively involved in production and in the preservation of traditions, with the aim of bringing traditional forms and motifs into today’s homes as modern, high-quality heating solutions.
I have been a member of the Order of Saint George since June 2025.
